Who runs this site

The site is an independent study aid for the RCSI Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery Overseas Aptitude Test (General Nurse). It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to RCSI, the NMBI or the HSE.

Not the real questions

RCSI does not publish its question bank. Our questions are our own, written from the public documents on the RCSI reading list and the NMBI Standards and Requirements for Nurse Registration Education Programmes, and each one names the document it is based on. Clinical guidance changes: always check the current version of a document before you rely on it in practice. Passing our mocks does not guarantee passing the real test.

Free and paid access

Without paying you can use the demo: the topics marked free in full, a fixed sample of every other topic, one short mock exam, the OSCE station notes and all guides.

The theory pass costs €59 (launch price until 15 October, then €79), paid once, and lasts 6 months from the day of payment. It covers every topic, unlimited full and short mock exams and your progress saved to your account. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and we never charge your card again.

The pass is personal. One account, one learner. Sharing a login or copying the question bank for redistribution or resale is not permitted and ends your access without refund.

Pass guarantee

If you sit the real RCSI theory test during your access period and fail it, email us a photo or screenshot of the result and we extend your access by another 6 months at no charge. There is no limit on how many times you can claim, as long as each claim is for a sitting that took place while your access was active.

Agency and employer seats

Recruitment agencies and employers can buy seats in packs from the agencies page. A seat gives one nurse 6 months of full access from the day the agency assigns it, by email or by an access code. Unused seats and unused codes do not expire; a cancelled code returns its seat. Agencies may pass seats to their candidates free of charge or as part of their own paid package; what they charge is their business, but the access itself is personal to the nurse who receives it and cannot be transferred once assigned. Packs are refundable within 14 days if no seat has been used. The agency sees each nurse’s name, email and access dates; the nurse can hide her practice summary from her account page at any time. The pass guarantee applies to each seat and is claimed by the agency from its panel with the nurse’s result sheet. Trial seats are given at our discretion to verified agencies, work exactly like paid seats, and can be withdrawn if the account is not what it claimed to be.

Refunds

You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of payment, no reason needed. Details are on the refunds page.

Your account

You log in with a link sent to your email address, so keep that address working. We may close accounts used to scrape or share content. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

Accuracy

We check content against the Manual and official sources, but rules, fares and fees change. The Manual and nationaltransport.ie are the only authoritative sources. If you spot an error, use the “Report this question” link under any answer or email [email protected], and we will fix it.

Use of content

You may use the site for your own study. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent permitted by Irish law, Avlas Digital is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site, including test fees or lost income. Nothing here limits your rights as a consumer under Irish and EU law.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. If we cannot settle a dispute directly, you can use the EU online dispute resolution platform or the Irish courts.
